How do young children learn to write and how can teachers support their early writing experiences using developmentally appropriate teaching practices?  Join us to explore the answers to these questions and so much more!  Our topics will include stages of scribbling and writing development, the teacher’s role in supporting children’s emergent writing, and how to provide an enticing environment that invites children to engage in this process of becoming a writer!

At the end of class you will receive a certificate for 2 clock hours of instructor-led training and an optional 1 hour self-study that you can take home take to complete.
